Women’s Declaration of Independence - July 2026

 What You’re About to Read

  • A modern version of the Declaration of Sentiments
  • A breakdown of how inequality still exists today
  • A call to action—not just words

Women’s Declaration of Independence 2026 is a modern reaffirmation of women’s constitutional equality, echoing the spirit of 1776 and 1848 while confronting the unfinished work of justice in 2026. Grounded in the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment, this declaration names the persistent harms women face under unequal enforcement of the law and boldly insists on full recognition, publication, and implementation of women’s equal status under the Constitution.

Both a moral reckoning and a civic call to action, it affirms that women’s dignity, labor, safety, and citizenship are foundational to democracy itself — and that equality must be real, enforced, and lived.

Refuse Silence. Act Now

  • This July 4, gather with friends, family, or your community and read the Women’s Declaration out loud on every street corner.
  • Sing the hymn. Share your voice.
  • Use #EqualityIsOurs.
  • Wave the flag.
Together, we remind the world that democracy is unfinished until women are equal.

As you read, ask yourself: Are these rights fully guaranteed today?

“Until women are equal, I will not be silent.”
